Get to Know Our Owner & President

Owner and President of Ed’s Garage Doors, Rich Cunningham, started his career in design and sales consulting for a major kitchen remodeling business. From the very beginning, he built a strong knowledge base of a customer-focused, detail-oriented working environment. 

When Ed O’Neil, Rich’s father-in-law and founder of Ed’s Garage Doors, planned to retire in 1989, he sold his business to Rich with confidence he would carry on the personalized service the company was known for. As it turns out, Ed was right! Today, clients enjoy working with Rich because of his eye for detail and his personal business approach.

Rich can be found working on-site with his fellow garage door design experts, helping customers in the showroom, meeting with architects about upcoming projects, and researching new products and industry trends.

Outside of work, Rich is a devoted husband and proud father of three sons. He strives to stay active in the community and spends his free time attending his kids’ sporting events and supporting their school activities.
